Gross savings: water you no longer buy and discharge × what each m³ costs you. Net savings: gross savings minus the cost of running the system (energy, chemicals, membrane replacement, maintenance and concentrate disposal). It does not include the equipment investment or the rental or pay-per-use fee, which depend on each project. *Recovery of up to 80% under ideal conditions; the actual rate depends on water quality and the process. Illustrative estimate: we calculate your real savings in the assessment, using your flows, water quality and rates.

  • Buy less waterLess city water, well water or water trucks. Every m³ recovered is one you do not pay for.
  • Discharge lessLower volume to drain and a discharge within the applicable limits. Lower fees and less risk of fines.
  • Less downtimeWater free of hardness and silica: no scaling in boilers, towers and equipment, and less maintenance.
  • Keep running in water shortagesDepend less on the city supply and wells during dry seasons or restrictions.
Business models

You choose how to pay for your water.

Buy, rent or pay only for the water you treat. With rental and pay per use there is no upfront investment*, so your CAPEX stays on the production line. Same equipment, same engineering.

    What does Aquargentum do?

We are a Mexican industrial water treatment and water recovery company founded in 2017. We design, build, install and operate turnkey water plants: ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF), reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX) and UV disinfection, including civil works, electrical installations, automation and controls.

    02

Where in Mexico do you work?

We are based in Mexico City and deliver projects across all of Mexico.

    03

Do you work with foreign companies setting up plants in Mexico?

Yes. We support foreign companies opening or expanding plants in Mexico: we work in English, quote in US dollars or Mexican pesos, and build to your corporate specifications and standards. Our team has experience working directly with US companies on their arrival and operations in Mexico.

    04

    Which industries do you serve?

Mainly automotive, manufacturing, cosmetics, metallurgy and chemicals, plus any plant that needs process water, demineralized water or wants to cut its water consumption.

    05

What is the difference between ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and reverse osmosis?

All three are membranes with different pore sizes. Ultrafiltration (≈0.01 µm) removes solids, bacteria and viruses. Nanofiltration (≈0.001 µm) also removes hardness and color. Reverse osmosis (≈0.0001 µm) removes almost all dissolved salts and produces demineralized water. Ion exchange uses resins to remove specific ions and for final polishing.

    06

How much water can be recovered?

Up to 80% of the water that used to go to drain can go back to the process under ideal conditions: reverse osmosis reject, process rinses, boiler and cooling tower blowdown, or treated wastewater. The actual rate depends on water quality, the process and other variables, and is defined in the assessment.

    07

What size systems do you build?

From 1 to 2,000 m³ per day, sized for each plant.

    08

How much does a reverse osmosis or water treatment plant cost?

It depends on flow, feed water quality, required quality, civil works and installations, so we quote after a free assessment. You can also rent it or pay per use, with no upfront investment (subject to technical, financial and contractual evaluation).

    09

    What is pay per use?

A model with no upfront investment: Aquargentum provides the equipment, installs, operates and maintains it at your plant, and you only pay for treated water, per liter or per cubic meter. Rental also requires no upfront investment and has a fixed monthly fee. Both models are subject to technical, financial and contractual evaluation of each project.

    10

Do you handle civil works, electrical and automation?

Yes. We deliver turnkey projects: process engineering and 3D design, civil works, steel and stainless fabrication, mechanical and electrical installation, control panels, PLC, automation, commissioning, training and monitoring.
