Industrial reverse osmosis (RO)

Industrial reverse osmosis plants in Mexico

Process water and demineralized water from wells, city supply, water trucks or recovered water. We design, build, install and operate your reverse osmosis plant, from 1 to 2,000 m³ per day.

What it is

Nearly salt-free water, every day.

Reverse osmosis pushes water at high pressure through a membrane so fine that water passes and almost all dissolved salts, hardness, silica and ions stay behind. The result is demineralized (DI) water or process water with the conductivity your line needs.

An industrial RO plant is more than the membrane skid: pretreatment decides how long membranes last and what the plant costs to run. That is why we start with a water analysis and design the full train, from the inlet to the treated water tank.

  • Custom pretreatment: multimedia filters, activated carbon, softeners or ultrafiltration
  • High-pressure pumps, pressure vessels and instrumentation
  • PLC control panel and clean-in-place (CIP) system
  • Ion exchange polishing and UV disinfection when higher purity is required

How it works

From raw water to DI water.

A typical demineralized water train. Each stage is defined by your water analysis.

  1. Raw waterWell, city supply, water trucks or recovered water.
  2. PretreatmentRemoves sand, sediment, chlorine and organics to protect the membranes.
  3. High pressurePumps bring the water to membrane operating pressure.
  4. RO membranesSplit permeate (treated water) from the reject that carries the salts.
  5. DI waterReady for process, boilers or final polishing. The reject can be recovered.
Applications

Where is reverse osmosis used?

Any process that needs water with low dissolved salts or controlled conductivity.

01

Automotive

Demineralized water for paint lines, surface pretreatment and rinses.

02

Boilers

Feed water free of hardness and silica to prevent scaling and downtime.

03

Cosmetics

Purified water for formulation and equipment cleaning.

04

Chemicals

Demineralized process water with stable conductivity.

05

Metallurgy

Water for surface treatment rinses and cooling.

06

Manufacturing

Process and utility water with consistent quality.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

01

How much does an industrial reverse osmosis plant cost?

It depends on flow, feed water quality, required quality, civil works and installations, so we quote after a free assessment. You can also rent it or pay per use, with no upfront investment (subject to technical, financial and contractual evaluation).

02

What sizes do you build?

From 1 to 2,000 m³ per day (1,000 to 2,000,000 liters per day), sized for each plant.

03

What happens to the RO reject?

The reject (concentrate) carries the salts removed by the membranes. Many plants send it to drain; we can treat it to recover a large share of that water and return it to the process.

04

Do you work with foreign companies?

Yes. We work in English, quote in US dollars or Mexican pesos and build to your corporate specifications.

05

Can you operate and maintain the plant?

Yes. We offer maintenance plans and, under pay per use, we operate and maintain the system while you pay per liter or cubic meter treated.
